Navigating complex problems by leveraging sustainable and integrated design processes.

Quin is the Lead Executive Officer and Director of luuceo consulting. She has facilitated planning and design processes for infrastructure projects across North America to enhance asset performance, specializing in the application of leading design frameworks such as Envision and the Integrated Design Process (IDP). She has advised clients and worked with project teams to execute sustainable and resilience strategies for alternative project delivery, preparing language and sustainability management systems to support project procurement documents for multi-billion-dollar projects in Canada and the United States.

Her Envision portfolio includes the BCIT North Campus Infrastructure Project (Envision Gold), the Naples Bay Restoration Project (Envision Silver), the Rochester Inner Loop Transformation Project (Envision Silver), the Atlanta Water Supply Program (Envision Silver), and the Dixon Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements Project (Envision Silver).

Quin has led sustainability and strategic management projects including sustainability planning and reporting for the Halifax Port Authority against GRI and Green Marine indicators, facilitating the sustainable design process for major infrastructure programming at the Vancouver International Airport, and the strategic business case and conceptual design planning for infrastructure renewal on the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Burnaby Campus.

Quin has held an active Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) credential since 2014 and during this time has consulted on over 30 projects leveraging the framework. She is an accredited Envision Trainer and Verifier and serves on the technical Envision Review Board and was recently selected for the UN Economic Commission for Europe Drafting Team to develop a stakeholder engagement guide for public -private partnerships.

Growing up I spent a lot of time outdoors and worked as a leader at a wilderness canoe camp. I have been fortunate to spend time living off the land, with the land, and guiding others to do the same. I have always felt inspired by and connected to nature which is why I pursued a career in sustainability. My goal for all of our projects at luuceo is to continue to be a guide, working with you to deliver results through more sustainable project delivery methods, to reduce our impact on the natural world and contribute to preserving it for future generations.
